Job summary

Stewarts Care in Kilcloon, Co. Meath, invites applications for a Care Staff post within Residents Services. This permanent part-time role covers 15 hours weekly and involves supervising residents and supporting daily living in collaboration with the MDT.

The ideal candidate will have QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent, HIQA knowledge, and strong planning, communication, and teamwork skills. Garda vetting will be carried out.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in disability care preferable.
• Knowledge of HIQA and Health Act 2007-2013.
• Flexibility to work across Resident Services.
• Strong planning and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and ensure safety on and off sections.
• Attend to physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Assist in day-to-day running of sections with high professional standards.
• Observe and report on residents to nursing staff and other personnel.
• Accompany residents to appointments and provide reports on return.
• Administer medications per organisational policy.
