A leading Irish civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Resident Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team in Leinster.

Role

• Acting as Resident Engineer on major civil engineering projects across Leinster
• Supervising construction works and ensuring compliance with specifications and contract requirements
• Monitoring quality, programme delivery and health & safety performance on site
• Reviewing contractor submissions, method statements and quality documentation
• Preparing site records, progress reports and project documentation
• Assisting with contract administration and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project requirements
• Identifying engineering issues on site and implementing practical solutions

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in Resident Engineering, site supervision or construction management roles
• Experience working on roads, transport, infrastructure or water projects is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction standards and contract administration
• Chartered status or progression towards chartership would be advantageous
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to work on site across Leinster
