Job summary

TerraGlen Residential Care Services in Dunleer, Co. Louth, invites applications for a Social Care Leader. The role supports the Deputy Manager and PIC, running the service and upholding high standards of person-centred care.

You'll educate yourself about each service user, supervise staff, plan, train, and ensure compliant documentation in line with HIQA regulations and GDPR. Garda Vetting is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Relevant Social Care Qualification, Social Science, Psychotherapy or Psychology, minimum level 7.
• Experience working with people who have complex needs.
• Full Driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for educating themselves about each service user within the service and how their disability affects them.
• Lead and support the staff team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care, including planning, training, supervision, and day-to-day service operations.
• Maintain high standards of documentation, including assessments, reports, audits, and service user files, ensuring compliance with policies, HIQA regulations, and GDPR.
• Be accountable for supporting the day to day running of the service and responsible for the execution and delivery of person-centred approach.
