Job summary

Tuath Housing Association in Dublin is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the Facilities and Estates Manager in keeping housing estates, apartment buildings and communal areas safe, clean and welcoming for residents.

The Caretaker provides a visible presence on the estate, carrying out and inspecting minor repairs, reporting issues, supporting residents, and working closely with colleagues and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining communal areas including entrances, stairwells, lifts, and corridors.
• Manage cleaning materials and waste disposal areas.
• Inspect and report pest issues and hygiene concerns.
• Carry out minor repairs such as changing light bulbs and tightening fittings.
• Supervise security and ensure doors and entry systems are secure.
• Conduct routine checks of fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
• Act as first point of contact for residents regarding maintenance issues.
