Galway Autism Partnership is seeking a Caretaker for Galway City to support the day-to-day running of the building and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and service users at all times.

Responsibilities

• Building Maintenance & Upkeep: carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs to the building, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
• Cleaning & Presentation: keep internal and external areas clean and well-presented; manage waste and recycling.
• Security & Access: open/close building; manage keys, access codes and security systems; act as first point of contact for security concerns.
• Health & Safety: assist in maintaining compliance; store chemicals safely; keep records of checks and incidents.
• Room & Event Set-Up: set up rooms for meetings/events; arrange furniture per bookings.
• General Duties: accept deliveries; monitor utility systems; assist during busy periods or emergencies.
