Job summary

Amberley Home in Fermoy, Co. Cork, is seeking an experienced care assistant to support residents with daily living activities under the guidance of nursing staff.

The role covers hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and recreational activities, with duties including assisting residents, ensuring dignity and safety, and liaising with relatives as needed. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in care.
• Minimum Qualification: Level 7 Diploma or Ordinary Bachelor Degree.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents and carry out direct care tasks as instructed by Nursing Staff.
• Support residents with hygiene, mobility, nutrition and daily activities.
• Promote equality and safety, monitoring wellbeing and conversations with residents.
• Assist with meals, personal care, mobility aids and recreational activities.
