Job summary

Company Details Confidential in Ireland seeks experienced care staff to provide direct care to residents, following nursing staff instructions and supporting equality, privacy, dignity and well-being.

You will assist residents through transitions, help maintain their interests and contact with significant people, and ensure safety at all times. Applicants must have at least 1 year of relevant experience and a Level 5 qualification, with eligibility to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in direct care.
• Must hold Level 5 qualification as described.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland; non-EEA nationals may require an employment permit.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all instructions relating to the direct care of residents, as directed by the Nursing Staff.
• Support the promotion of equality for all residents.
• Contribute to the protection and safety of residents at all times.
• Assist in ongoing support of residents and others by enabling residents to maintain interests, identity and well-being and maintaining contact with those who are significant to them.
• Support residents in the transition due to changing care environments
• Ensure that resident’s privacy, dignity and choices are respected
