Job summary

ETHOS CARE LIMITED in Ireland seeks compassionate care workers to support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence and a person-centred approach. You will work to maintain dignity, privacy and respect while fostering a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include organizing activities, maintaining clean living areas and dining spaces, and building respectful relationships with residents. An appropriate Level 5 healthcare award and relevant certificates are desirable.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable and patient-centered approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or related field preferred.
• Desirable modules: Care of the Older Person, Infection Prevention & Control, Nutrition, Palliative Care Support.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Deliver high standard of person-centred care respecting privacy, dignity and respect.
• Build relationships with residents based on respect and equality.
• Promote and practice ethos of person-centred care.
• Assist in organizing social outings and in-house activities.
• Maintain dining rooms, living areas and bedrooms in a clean, hygienic state.
