Job summary

ETHOS CARE LIMITED is seeking a dedicated healthcare support worker in Ireland to assist residents with daily activities and deliver person-centred care. The role focuses on maintaining dignity, privacy, and respectful relationships, while promoting the ethos of compassionate care within a residential setting.

The position involves organizing social activities, helping with dining and living spaces, and working as part of a team to ensure high standards of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must have started or completed FETAC/QQI Major Award Level 5 in Healthcare.
• Current and valid Infection Control, Manual Handling, and Safeguarding of Adults certificates; training can be provided if required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in activities of daily living to help them be as independent as possible.
• Deliver high standard of person-centred care reflecting residents' privacy and dignity.

Education & Qualifications

Must have started or completed FETAC/QQI Major Award Level 5 in Healthcare or relate equivalent. Modules in Care of the Older Person, Infection Prevention & Control, Nutrition, and Palliative Care desirable. Current and valid Infection Control, Manual & Resident Moving & Handling, and Safeguarding of Adults Certificates (training can be provided if required).
