Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Dual Site Residence Manager to oversee two purpose-built student accommodations in Cork, Ireland. Reporting to the City Manager, you will lead the on-site teams, drive occupancy through short- and long-term lets, and ensure excellent student experience across both residences.

• Relevant experience supporting the running of a residence within hotels, hospitality, or better yet student accommodation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationships.
• Passion to ensure that students literally have the best experience of their lives whilst living with us.
• Demonstrates behaviours consistent with our values of integrity, commitment and energy.
• Experience within a fast paced, target driven environment with strong focus on sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and guide the team to ensure the residence runs smoothly.
• Follow up on all sales opportunities and ensure the property is at capacity through short term and long term lets.
• Drive sales and marketing activities to ensure residences are full and marketing channels are utilised.
• Maintain high standards reflected in presentation of the property via regular inspections with facilities team.
• Handle complaints and provide excellent customer service to students.

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Dual Site Residence Manager to join the team in two of our purpose-built student accommodations located in Cork.

It’s a big job! But you will be part of an awesome team, who will support you to ensure we are consistent in the service we provide to our students.

Reporting to the City Manager, here is a snapshot of what you will do;

• Use your upbeat, outgoing personality to lead, mentor and guide the team to ensure that the residence is running smoothly
• Follow up on all sales opportunities and ensure the property is at capacity through short term and long term lets
• Drive sales and marketing activities to ensure the residences are full and all marketing channels have been utilised to their full potential
• You have exceptionally high standards, and this is reflected in the overall presentation of the property, you will manage this through regular inspections and working with the facilities team
• Manage 'the good' and turn around the 'not so good' - meaning you will handle complaints and offer excellent customer service to your students
• Maintain and develop relationships with key players at the local universities, as well as internal and external suppliers - again here is that winning personality!
• Be a smooth operator and ensure the smooth running of the operational calendar and student lifecycle from arrival, departure, and summer turn around
• Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters.
• Act as the responsible person for water hygiene, ensuring safe management and compliance of site water systems, assisting in arranging any remedial actions or water testing required following Legionella Risk Assessments, and ensuring the site remains compliance with the Yugo Water Hygiene Management Plan
