Job summary

Yugo is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to support our student spaces in Dublin on a fixed-term contract. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure safety, compliance, and maintain records, while driving a preventive maintenance program.

This role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a dynamic student housing environment. 40 hours per week with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team to ensure cleanliness of communal areas and external grounds.
• Support City Manager with regulatory and compliance, ensuring routine testing and records.
• Implement the predefined PPM regime and cost-effectively resolve site repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections for security, fire and safety.
• Provide training for residence teams and lead technicians and housekeeping.
• Perform regular walk-throughs and address issues as they arise.
• Manage health and safety duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team supporting our purpose-built student spaces situated in Dublin.

It's a big job! But you will be part of an awesome team, who will support you to ensure we are consistent in the service we provide to our students.

Here's what you'll do:

• Lead the maintenance team to ensure exceptional cleanliness of all communal areas and external grounds
• Support the City Manager with regulatory and compliance issues, ensuring all routine testing are carried out and records are maintained
• Ensure implementation of the pre-determined PPM regime and cost-effectively resolve all site level repair issues
• Ensure regular inspections are conducted and arrangements are in place for security, fire, and safety
• Provide support and trainings for residence teams and lead the technicians and housekeeping team
• Conduct regular walk throughs of our spaces to respond to any issues as they arise
• Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters

Requirements

• Previous experience within a facilities or maintenance role
• Previous experience in a people management capacity
• Great teamworking and customer service skills
• Ability to be proactive with strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Highly organized and passionate about delivering exceptional service quality
