Job summary

Trigon Hotels – Cork International Hotel, Metropole Hotel, and Cork Airport Hotel is seeking a full-time Central Reservations Agent based at the Cork Airport Hotel in Cork. You will join a busy reservations office, delivering friendly service and accurate bookings.

Ideal candidates will be well organised, with strong communication skills and experience in a call centre or hotel reservations role. Training covers PMS systems and promotions; relocation assistance and staff benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a call centre or hotel reservations role.
• Ability to work to deadlines with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service for reservation inquiries.
• Handle all reservation queries to record accurate details.
• Contribute to team targets and revenue forecasts.
• Understand promotions and packages; stay informed on relevant information.
• Basic training on Hotel PMS systems will be provided.

Description of Role

We are looking for a full-time Central Reservations Agent to join the Trigon Hotel Group's Central Reservations Office based in the Cork Airport Hotel in Cork. This role will suit an organised person who enjoys learning and working in a fast-paced environment. The role be part of a team within an office environment. You will work with colleagues, team member and managers to achieve department and organisational goals.

Main Duties Include

• Provide exceptional customer service for clients at enquiry stage and beyond for all properties within Trigon Hotels
• Handle all reservation queries as per the company's mystery shopper standard making sure all relevant questions are asked to ensure accurate reservation details are recorded
• As a team achieve forecasted revenue targets for the organisation.
• Understanding of all promotions, packages, and pertinent information
• Good communication skills, ensuring all requests and queries from the Hotels are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understanding of Hotel PMS Systems, however full training will be provided.

Essential Requirements

• A good working knowledge of word, excel, outlook.
• Previous experience in a call centre or hotel reservations role.
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Organised and ability to work to deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
