The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking an experienced professional in the role of Research Manager. They will have overall responsibility and authority for the School's research support structures, research support staff, and growing portfolio of affiliated Research Centres. As the School undergoes a period of strategic growth and development, this role will be pivotal, working in partnership with the Director of Research, in leading the implementation of the schools research strategy, directing and managing the broad range of research support activities and ensuring the effective delivery, coordination and continuous enhancement of research operations.
The Research Manager will provide strategic leadership across all research support functions, with responsibility for strengthening research support systems, driving the development of research capacity, and ensuring that research support staff and Research Centres operate in alignment with the School's strategic objectives and priorities. The postholder will play a key leadership role in fostering a high-impact, clinically relevant, and internationally recognised research environment across the School and its Research Centres.
35 hours per week
This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€71,651 - €92,692 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
