Post Summary:

The Programme Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing programme and project management activities across Rinn Advanced Therapies’ portfolio of 15+ research projects. Working with the Academic Director, Executive Director, Principal Investigators and project teams, the role will establish and maintain consistent project management processes, governance, monitoring and reporting arrangements to support the effective delivery of projects against agreed objectives, timelines and budgets.

The role will monitor progress, risks, dependencies and resource requirements across the project portfolio, coordinate activities across participating teams and provide timely information, advice and recommendations to the Academic Director and Executive Director. The Programme Manager will also support the development and application of consistent project management standards and practices across the Centre.

Working in collaboration with the Business Development Manager, Funding Manager and other members of the Operations Team, the role will support the delivery of industry and externally funded programmes and contribute to effective engagement with relevant partners and stakeholders

Post status: Specific Purpose Contract

This role is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as it is linked to the duration and funding of Rinn Advanced Therapies. This appointment will end when the work for which the post has been established is completed, the Centre’s funded activities conclude, or the funding supporting the post is terminated or withdrawn.

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1(Points 1-6), Salary Scale (€71,651 - €113,454 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
