Job summary

ESB Renewables O&M is seeking a Renewables Site Mobilisation Representative based at ESB Head Office with regular travel to construction sites. The role focuses on representing O&M interests, ensuring safe site mobilisation and a smooth transition from energisation to normal operation.

The position requires 5 years of related experience, a technical engineering qualification, strong communication, safety focus, and the ability to work flexibly across office and site environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ work experience in operation, design, or commissioning of electrical equipment/generating plant.
• Technical Engineering Qualification (Mechanical / Electrical / C&I) or equivalent.
• Be assertive with excellent communication skills.
• Strong safety and risk management focus.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours (office and on site) to suit mobilisation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in O&M design reviews and advise on O&M requirements for new sites.
• Complete pre-operational takeover reviews of site assets.
• Carry out snagging inspections to assess readiness for takeover.
• Prepare inspection and maintenance schedules for plant and service contracts.
• Develop site-specific policies and procedures such as emergency response.
• Act as Site Engineer during initial operation phase.
• Manage service providers and contractors on site and ensure ESB Safety Rules compliance.
