Job summary

Perigus Energy in Ireland is seeking a Commercial Analyst to support the commercial analysis and optimisation of onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects across Ireland and the UK.

You will develop financial models, analyse revenues and costs, and prepare investment case analyses for senior management. This role offers exposure to market concepts and cross-functional collaboration with development, technical, procurement, finance and power trading teams.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Foundational financial modelling ability and experience.
• Interest in renewable energy markets and electricity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain project financial models with inputs from multiple teams.
• Maintain clear records of project assumptions and sources.
• Analyse revenues, costs and returns; run sensitivities and identify risks/opportunities.
• Support assessment of routes to market, PPAs and auction participation.
• Prepare bid economics and sensitivities for auction participation.
• Create clear charts and presentations for investment cases to senior management.
