Job summary

MongoDB Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Query Testing Tools Team, building state-of-the-art distributed query systems and tooling for end-to-end testing, fuzzing, and performance measurement.

You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and performance tests for the company’s query engine, collaborating with peers to ensure testability and coverage across happy-path and edge cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or performance engineering.
• Fluency in Python, Javascript or Typescript.
• Demonstrating hands-on experience working with relational or NoSQL databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, Performance automated tests and internal tooling for the the company query engine.
• Collaborate closely with peers to understand new features and functionalities, ensuring testability, test frameworks, tooling and coverage for automating tests of both happy-path and edge-case scenarios.
• Provide feedback in code reviews, focusing on the robustness and reliability of code changes.
