Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a full-stack senior software engineer for its Product Security team. You will help build and scale automated security capabilities used by hundreds of MongoDB engineers.

The role supports Dublin, Cork, or remote Ireland placement and involves working with a distributed US-time-zone team on security-focused software across CI/CD, AI-assisted analysis, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-level software development with Python and TypeScript in a cloud environment.
• Experience managing end-to-end development lifecycle at scale (build, deploy, operate).
• Experience in micro-services, Kubernetes, and containers.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems and deployment strategies.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently with team alignment.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects and solving problems.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security automations and an automated code analysis platform.
• Expand security findings triaging and verification across MongoDB products.
• Automate finding management to be self-serve for engineering teams.
• Build a centralized security signal analytics platform for focused excellence.
• Design tooling to shift security practices left in the SDLC.
