Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Relationship Executive (Northern Ireland) for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This home-based, full-time role (35 hours/week) requires you to manage a range of supporters, deliver excellent service via phone, email and mail, and contribute to fundraising growth while staying compliant with regulations.

Applicants must be based in Northern Ireland and commit to a closing date of 11 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills, especially over the phone, email and mail.
• Good listening skills to build effective relationships with supporters.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work with colleagues to develop processes and improve ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Manage initial and ongoing contact for low, mid value and light touch relationships including individuals, fundraising groups, legators, corporate organisations, and new legacy enquirers.
• Provide excellent customer service to support fundraisers via phone, mail and email, enhancing fundraising experience and income.
• Provide timely contact to supporters at various stages of their fundraising journey to increase loyalty and gifts.
• Support development of robust prospect pipeline focused on lifetime value and re-engagement.
• Identify high value supporters and coordinate with the Relationship Manager to maximise income.
• Achieve agreed income targets and support regional budgets with monthly targets.
• Ensure supporter records are maintained in systems and pipelines.
• Comply with Fundraising Regulator and Charity Commission regulations and CRUK policies.
