Job summary

Northern Trust in Limerick is seeking a Manager to lead our Private Equity Fund Accounting team. You will oversee delivery of high-quality client service, manage workloads, and ensure timely completion of reporting and regulatory filings.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with clients and auditors, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic plans for the department. A recognised accounting qualification and extensive post-qualification experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification with extensive post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP/US GAAP and IFRS.
• Client service orientation and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Private Equity accounting team in Limerick.
• Ensure high-quality client service and timely reporting.
• Plan workloads and monitor SLAs within the team.
• Engage with clients and external auditors on fund activity and NAV.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
