Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks an experienced security professional for a part-time, remote role focused on elevating enterprise-grade security posture across Europe, Asia, and Australia. You will shape strategy, implement practical controls, and mentor engineering teams in secure coding and DevSecOps practices.

You will also guide privacy requirements, vendor assessments, and cross-border regulatory alignment while advising early-stage ventures on scalable security foundations.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud security, application security, DevSecOps, or a related discipline.
• Strong technical understanding of SDLC, CI/CD security, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Ability to independently assess and validate security controls across cloud configurations and tooling.
• Excellent translation of technical risks into practical actions for teams and leadership.
• Experience handling client security assessments, audits, or vendor security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a 12-month security roadmap balancing enterprise security with agility.
• Maintain a security risk register prioritizing remediation by business impact.
• Mentor IT leadership and translate activities into measurable security controls.
• Provide guidance to engineering on secure coding, OWASP, DevSecOps, and best practices.
• Strengthen controls across cloud infra, development env, repositories, CI/CD, IAM, and endpoints.
• Ensure GDPR, privacy, and regional data protection compliance.
• Standardize responses to client security questionnaires and audits.
• Develop security policies for incident response, access control, and disaster recovery.
• Guide selection of security tech including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management.
• Establish a security framework for early-stage portfolio companies.
