Job summary

Version 1 in Ireland is seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer to join our Public Sector & Utilities team in Dublin. You will work with product owners, cross-disciplinary teams and QA to deliver high-quality functional solutions leveraging PL/SQL, Oracle SQL and Oracle APEX.

With 4+ years in PL/SQL development, you will manage code, develop packages and reports, provide ad hoc analytics, and advise on Oracle features and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Oracle PL/SQL Developer experience.
• Understanding of code version management and promotion in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of source control tools.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with effort estimation and requirements gathering.
• Database tuning and performance monitoring skills.
• Understanding of data modelling and database design.
• Familiarity with technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Managing project source code and documentation.
• Developing and maintaining packages for background processing and reports.
• Developing and maintaining reports using PL/SQL, OAP and APEX.
• Providing ad hoc reports using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Analysing and resolving database issues.
• Advising on Oracle features and best practices.
