Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced AI researcher in Ireland to advance large language models and transformer architectures. The role emphasizes autonomous, fast-moving research in an AI-first environment with opportunities to shape direction and publish impactful results.

You will collaborate with a top technical team, lead distributed training initiatives, and translate discoveries into scalable, production-ready capabilities for voice-based applications across the company’s products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied deep learning research.
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures and loss functions.
• Hands-on experience with large language models including data curation and distributed training.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with autoregressive and seq2seq transformer models.
• Experience designing and running research experiments and improving model performance.
• Excellent communication and autonomous work style.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research scientists to define new LLM initiatives.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize existing methods.
• Plan and execute experimental programs for LLM development.
• Research transformer architectures and optimization methods.
• Lead large-scale LLM training using distributed infrastructure.
• Improve data curation, training efficiency, and RL techniques.
• Translate experiments into scalable, production-ready models.
• Document findings and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Stay updated on DL and LLM research trends.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate experimentation and productivity.
