Lifted, an Upwork Company, is seeking an Irish Audio Transcription & Quality Reviewer for an AI training project. The role focuses on accurate, verbatim Irish transcriptions and detecting speech nuances to improve recognition models.

You'll work remotely with flexible hours, committing around 20 hours per week. Strong Irish fluency and attention to detail are essential, with experience in transcription or linguistics as a plus.

Qualifications

• Expert-level fluency in Irish, including regional accents and informal speech.
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce verbatim transcriptions with fillers and false starts.
• Experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is advantageous.
• Reliable internet connection and a laptop/desktop are required.
• Available to commit 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio recordings and produce accurate, verbatim transcriptions in Irish.
• Capture how it is said, including fillers, repetitions and false starts.
• Insert precise timestamps with high accuracy.
• Annotate non-speech events such as laughter or background noise.
• Follow project instructions and maintain high quality standards.
• Remain productive and reliable across the project duration.
