Job summary

Crane Company is seeking an Internal Auditor to support SOX compliance audits, financial and operational audits, and data analytics-driven reviews. The role will contribute to governance, risk management, and process improvements across the organization.

The position is remote and located in Germany, Ireland, or the UK with a strong emphasis on manufacturing controls, evidence gathering, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in public/internal audit, risk management or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and internal controls preferred.
• Strong English communication; additional languages such as German or Mandarin are a plus.
• Understanding of SOX, internal control frameworks, and risk-based auditing principles.
• Experience with or interest in data analytics and audit technologies (Power BI, AuditBoard) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit planning activities and risk analysis.
• Participate in opening, status and closing meetings with management.
• Execute SOX testing and document audit workpapers.
• Perform data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and risks.
• Support development of data analytics, automation, and AI capabilities for audits.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls and suggest improvements.
• Draft audit findings and management recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports and presentations for management.
