Job summary

SGS is a leading world-class testing, inspection and certification company with a global footprint. We are seeking a Global Medical Devices Business Development leader to drive growth across markets and customer segments, coordinating country, DOs and hubs, and delivering scalable service propositions.

The role requires at least 5 years in BD within the medical device TIC sector, strong regulatory understanding, and the ability to influence across a matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in business development or market development in the medical device TIC sector.
• Proven success coordinating distributed sales or commercial teams in a matrix organisation without direct authority.
• Experience developing new markets, partnerships and multi-country opportunities.
• Knowledge of MDR/IVDR and international regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the global BD roadmap for Medical Devices aligned with SGS strategy.
• Lead the Global Medical BD strategy and coordinate initiatives across countries, DOs and hubs.
• Translate market and regulatory insights into scalable service propositions and GTM priorities.
• Represent SGS in external forums to strengthen market insight and partnerships.
• Ensure BD initiatives balance growth with regulatory and operational requirements.
