Job summary

ORS is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) to join our expanding team in Limerick. The role focuses on HVAC and domestic water systems, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality designs within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

You will create detailed mechanical designs, produce AutoCAD and Revit drawings, coordinate with electrical engineers and site teams, and support document control and design reviews.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical building services projects.
• Qualification in Building Services Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical systems with calculations, schedules, specs, and docs.
• Produce AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) drawings.
• Coordinate designs with electrical engineers and other disciplines.
• Assist site inspections, surveys, and respond to contractor queries.
• Support project delivery: document control, tender packs, design reviews.
• Maintain ISO-compliant project documentation.
