Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Technical Consultant to support service and sales for cranial and spinal portfolio, including navigation, imaging, and robotics. You will provide onsite technical and clinical implant support in operating theatres, train theatre staff, and manage inventory while traveling within district coverage.

Requirements include experience in the medical device industry, ability to work in a matrix environment with sales, physicians, nurses, and technicians, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales team, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
• Spinal/Orthopaedic or Cranial knowledge is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects as well as contributing to a larger team.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule; travel and weekend support are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and technical support to the clinical team in theatres for cranial & spine cases.
• Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers.
• Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programs.
• Participates in and supports regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events.
• Ensures inventory is maintained at its optimal level as per guidelines.
• Identify ways to impact at scale and deliver outcomes with the highest standard of patient safety, quality, and ethics.
• Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products.
