Job summary

Eminence Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a remote finance team serving startups in SaaS, Fintech and Tech. You will manage A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations, using QuickBooks Online and Excel to produce accurate reports.

You'll collaborate with CPAs and tax professionals, prepare monthly and quarterly statements, and help ensure GAAP compliance while maintaining confidentiality and strong client service across internal and client accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant.
• Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal and client bookkeeping, including A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage tasks and generate financial reports.
• Maintain day-to-day financial operations in line with GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support tax preparation activities with CPAs and tax teams.
• Leverage Excel to analyze financial data, generate reports, and build financial models.
• Identify efficiencies and process improvements in financial operations.
