Eminence Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Associate to join a remote, client-focused practice serving startups across SaaS, Fintech, Web3, and Tech sectors. You will prepare and review tax returns, research issues, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality service.

This role emphasizes collaboration with tax and accounting professionals and direct client engagement, with opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional tax preparer credentials (CPA, EA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong familiarity with online tax software, preferably Intuit ProConnect.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business, individual, and partnership tax returns.
• Review tax returns of varying complexity to optimize outcomes while ensuring compliance.
• Research tax issues and provide resolutions or recommendations.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their tax needs and ensure their best interests are met.
• Assist other members of the tax and accounting team to provide high-quality service.
• Maintain client records and ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay updated with tax regulations and industry trends.
• Assist in tax planning strategies for clients to maximize efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all tax-related matters.
