Job summary

Grafana Labs, a fully remote company, is hiring a Backend Engineer for Platform – Stacks. You will help design and operate the AppCore stacks, enabling reliable Grafana Cloud environments and customer experiences across regions.

You will collaborate across product, platform, and operations, owning parts of stack lifecycle, configurations, and deployment flows while supporting customer and internal stakeholders with robust, observable services.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and distributed systems concepts.
• Proficient in Golang; comfortable with backend and application code.
• Strong focus on developer UX and product quality.
• Ability to break work into iterative tasks and deliver.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, scalable backend code in Go.
• Develop and operate stack provisioning and reconciliation services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on solutions.
• Participate in OnCall rotations and incident response improvements.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and technical design.
• Improve deployment and rollback processes for stack updates.
• Ensure reliable stack state across Grafana Cloud regions.
