Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of search expertise (Elasticsearch, Lucene, Solr, Algolia, Lucidworks, or similar).
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software.
• Solid understanding and ability to code with two or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js) and/or languages (e.g. C, C++, C#, Java).
• Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design systems, applications, and infrastructure to support software development projects using MongoDB Atlas Developer Data Platform.
• Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies to maximize MongoDB usage.
• Articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions to diverse stakeholders.
• Support sales with technical discovery, demos, proof of value, sizing, and documentation across multiple opportunities.
• Translate technical concepts into business benefits for management and executives.
• Collect feedback from the field and relay it to Product Management.
