Alignerr is seeking a Data Scientist (Masters) for an AI Data Trainer role. This fully remote, hourly contract invites graduate-level expertise to design challenges, author ground-truth solutions, and audit AI outputs to improve model reasoning.

You will work asynchronously, contributing high‑quality data science work on a flexible schedule. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in data science, statistics, or related fields, with strong Python/R and SQL skills, plus experience with ML/DL

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, CS or a related quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge across data science domains: supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, big data or NLP.
• Ability to explain complex algorithms in writing with precision.
• Attention to detail in code, math notation and statistical validity.
• Self-motivated and reliable for independent work.

Responsibilities

• Design Advanced Challenges — craft domain-rich data science problems including hyperparameter optimization and Bayesian inference.
• Author Ground‑Truth Solutions — provide step-by-step technical solutions with Python/R, SQL and derivations.
• Audit AI‑Generated Code — evaluate outputs using Scikit‑Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow for accuracy and efficiency.
• Sharpen AI Reasoning — identify data leakage, overfitting, and imbalanced data issues; provide actionable feedback.
• Work Independently — complete tasks asynchronously on your own schedule.
