Job summary

Kinisla Group is seeking a Store Person for our agribusiness team, covering the West/North Kerry region. This relief role involves travelling between our stores and supporting customers, stock control, and general store duties.

Working hours 08:30-17:00 (Sat 08:30-12:00). Training provided in forklift operation, manual handling and chemical safety. You will be part of a supportive team focused on safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service is advantageous.
• Training will be provided in product handling, forklift operation, manual handling and chemical safety.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers and taking queries by phone or in person.
• Handling card and cash payments.
• Loading and unloading lorries/vehicles and operating the forklift.
• Stock management in the stores/yard and keeping the area neat.
• Familiarising yourself with our product range and following safety guidelines.

About The Role

We have an opportunity for the role of Store Person in our Kinisla Agribusiness Team, covering the West/North Kerry region. This is a relief role so will involve travelling between all of our stores in that region.

This role is full-time - working hours are from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, and from 08:30 to 12:00 on Saturdays.

As a Store Person, you will play a dynamic role, facing new challenges and opportunities every day. Your duties will include assisting customers, managing stock, and completing various store responsibilities. You will be supported by both your local store team and the larger company team, contributing to sales and ensuring product and service quality. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or roles like warehouse operative, forklift driver, store operative, or stock controller is advantageous. Familiarity with the agriculture sector is also beneficial. Training will be provided in product handling, forklift operation, manual handling, and chemical safety.

What will I be doing?

• You will be fully trained to use the forklift, manual handling, health and safety
• Duties to include serving customers, handling card and cash payments, taking queries over the phone
• Loading and unloading lorries/vehicles and using the forklift
• Stock management in the stores/yard
• Keeping the yard and stores in a neat condition
• Familiarising yourself with our range of products
• Following all health and safety guidelines
