Rehab Group in Kilkenny invites applications for a Relief Programme Facilitator. You will work within a professional team delivering learning, social and recreational activities to people with disabilities, supporting valued community participation and independence.
The role emphasises person-centred planning and adaptive supports. Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care is required; a third level Health & Social Care qualification is desirable.

To be part of a professional team & progressive service supporting individuals with complex challenges to achieve and maintain valued roles in their community through learning, social and recreational opportunities. The successful candidate will be required to work in a way which reflects the values of Supported Self Directed Living, implementing the core values of New Directions. The candidate will have an innovative ability, together with drive, enthusiasm, motivation and a positive attitude. To facilitate individuals with their programme choices and demonstrate a passion to assist in enhancing the person's image in all settings. To facilitate programmes and projects that include educational, developmental, recreational and occupational themes and activities of the service, as appropriate. Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent A third level graduate, Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities as a primary diagnosis. Programme facilitation skills an advantage

We offer a competitive starting salary of € 16.38 per hour.
