Job summary

Uniphar Group is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join our team across Cork stores. This is a 40-hour permanent role with weekend coverage requirements (2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday each month).

You will dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock levels, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary within a number of Cork stores, within an hours drive. Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous, with IPU or higher certificates preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
