Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking skilled Relief Chefs to join our temporary workforce across Galway City. Salary ranges EUR18–EUR20 per hour with flexible shifts, and weekly pay.

You will prepare and cook food to kitchen standards, ensure food safety procedures, manage prep and stock rotation, and adapt to different menus and service styles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Contract catering experience is an advantage.
• Valid Manual Handling and HACCP certs (training available).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food in line with kitchen standards.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.
• Managing prep, stock rotation, and cleanliness.
