Job summary

Bank of China Luxembourg, Dublin Branch, seeks a Relationship Manager Associate to join its Corporate Banking team. You will source new clients, manage relationships, and drive revenue growth while coordinating end-to-end loan transactions with internal partners.

You will perform commercial and credit analyses, prepare credit applications, and monitor portfolios to ensure compliance and performance in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, management, finance, economics or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in corporate banking with an international bank.
  • Pro-active, structured, professional and cooperative.
  • Familiar with the workflow of corporate banking and sales experience.
  • Strong connections with local banking network preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of comprehensive credit applications for internal approval.
  • Participate in meetings and calls with customers and market participants for due diligence and monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners and external market participants.
  • Portfolio monitoring including review of reports and market trends that may impact the portfolio.
  • Support high performance and compliance reflecting bank values.
  • Manage the existing loan book and overall loan portfolio with adherence to policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superiors and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job description

Due to the continued expansion of our banking activities, we are looking for a Relationship Manager Associate to join our Corporate Banking team in our Dublin Branch:

Responsibilities

Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Source for and acquire new clients within market and refer potential clients to other marketing teams or other segments within the bank.
  • Meet revenue targets and other quantitative targets like account growth and fee income ratio.
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end execution of transaction proposals including: transaction origination, credit analysis, internal loan approval process and post-loan management.
  • Perform commercial and credit analysis on potential opportunities, to include both qualitative and quantitative due diligence and appropriate financial analysis and stress testing.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive credit applications for internal approval.
  • Participate in meetings & conference calls with customers and market participants to facilitate initial due diligence and on-going investment monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with internal business partners and external market participants;
  • Proactive and on-going portfolio monitoring including timely review of financial / performance reports, and market trends / research that may impact the portfolio.
  • Assist in the development and maintaining a culture of high performance, strong customer focus and compliance that is reflective of the BOC values.
  • Continue to play a key role in the management of the existing loan book and overall loan portfolio from a credit and risk perspective, ensuring that adherence to BOC policies, procedures and codes of best practice is appropriately monitored.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors and Ensure compliance with Bank's and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, management, finance, economics or a related field.
