Job summary

PartnerRe in Dublin is seeking a qualified professional to manage an assigned broker/cedent reinsurance facultative and treaty portfolio, verify, process, and monitor results.

The role reports to the Team Leader of Reinsurance Accounting Non-Life in Paris, requiring strong Excel skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel and solid Word/PowerPoint knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Well-organized with attention to detail and able to adapt to change.
• 3–5 years of experience in reinsurance accounting (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Identify, verify and process regular accounts, commutation accounts, cash losses, profit & loss calculations and year-end documents against treaty terms and contractual conditions.
• Cedant premium and loss reserve handling, cedant statistics analysis and Letter of Credit & Pledged Securities handling.
• Monitor and manage cash statements including confirmation letters and communicate with brokers and cedants.
• Collaborate with Claims, Payments & Collections, Underwriting Administration and other functional areas.
• Perform periodic SOX and operational controls and assure correctness of quarterly closing tasks.
