Job summary

Michael Page International (Ireland) Limited in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Regulatory Reporting AVP to lead regulatory reporting with a focus on controls within a large banking environment.

You will operate in a hybrid model (3 days in office) and collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure accurate, timely submissions and ongoing improvements. Salary range is €75,000–€82,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory reporting with a controls focus in a mid-to-large bank.
• Proficiency in regulatory reporting processes and frameworks.
• Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review regulatory reports across Corep, FinRep/Statistical Returns, and Data Flow/Controls.
• Monitor and enhance control frameworks to mitigate risks in reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address regulatory requirements and changes.
• Analyse financial data to support regulatory submissions and business objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting efficiency.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Assist in development of policies and procedures related to regulatory reporting and controls.

Dublin City Centre - 3 days per week in-office hybrid working

Banking & Financial Services

• Prepare and review regulatory reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards - sits across a mix of Corep, FinRep/Statistical Returns, and Data Flow/Controls. It is the last part (Controls) that this role will really focus on initially but will need that production knowledge too.
• Monitor and enhance control frameworks to mitigate risks within the reporting process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address regulatory requirements and changes.

• A strong background in either Regulatory Reporting but with that Controls experience being key from a mid to large Bank with that preparation and reporting focus but equally decent Controls nous.
• Proficiency in regulatory reporting processes and frameworks, well-round around regulation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with compliance and risk management systems.
• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively across teams.
• Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
