Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking a Regulatory Accountant to join the finance team of a leading global technology organisation with a regulated payments entity in Ireland. Reporting to the CFO, you will own regulatory reporting, statutory compliance and financial controls in an international business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in regulatory reporting within financial services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Central Bank of Ireland reporting and PSD2/ EBA guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage US GAAP financial reporting, month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead statutory reporting, financial statement preparation and external audit coordination.
• Own regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations.
• Monitor capital requirements and oversee safeguarding processes.
• Support Central Bank inspections and regulatory requests.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and AI-enabled tools.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced teams to assess financial and regulatory impact of business changes.
