Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a regulatory governance professional to maintain regulatory registers and MRMs, and to support CAO with data analyses and regulatory projects. You will work with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance across local and European jurisdictions.

The role emphasises analytical capability, ability to manage multiple tasks, and collaboration within a hybrid work environment. Prior experience in financial services and knowledge of F&P/IAR/SEAR/SMCR is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fitness & Probity Regime, UK SMCR or ESMA/EBA guidelines.
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured analysis.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels in a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience producing management information, reports or decision-support materials.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain live Registers and Management Responsibility Maps (MRMs) to ensure compliance with local and European regulations.
• Guide on people-related regulatory requirements and their operational impact.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
• Identify gaps in regulatory processes and drive improvements.
• Contribute to design and development of regulatory policies and training.
• Stay updated on new and pending people-related laws affecting the business.
• Support regulatory change projects and embed changes in operations.
• Assist with risk and control reviews to assess regulatory compliance.
• Provide management information, analysis and reporting to identify trends and risks.
• Offer flexible analytical support across the CAO group with data gathering and insights.
• Support consistent reporting, governance and operational processes across CAO activities.
