Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to own the Health and Safety function for Dublin and supervise a local team of safety professionals. You will partner with security, risk, vendors, and facilities to drive comprehensive safety programs.

With strong leadership and EU/IE regulatory expertise, you will shape safety strategy, align with global standards, and lead change across regional sites. English proficiency is required for all communications and collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or EQF in safety/engineering or related field.
NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Ireland/Europe regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

Own the health and safety function for Dublin and supervise the local Health and Safety team.
Collaborate with onsite physical security, vendors, risk management, and fire/life safety systems.
Define safety strategy and design team structure to meet long-term business goals.
Work with employees and contractors to achieve safety objectives.
Travel regionally as required and communicate in English for all business activities.
