Job summary

Windward Management Limited seeks an experienced Regional General Manager to provide operational leadership across its portfolio of 20+ hotels in Ireland. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with Hotel Managers to drive profitability, guest satisfaction and overall asset value.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across a portfolio of 20+ hotels across Ireland.
• Drive operational excellence, commercial performance, profitability and guest satisfaction across the portfolio.
• Develop strong relationships with hotel owners and key stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve performance and asset value.
• Coach, challenge and develop Hotel Managers; translate group strategy into actionable objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and CAPEX process with a hands-on, results-driven approach.

Windward Management is seeking an experienced, commercially focused and highly personable.

Regional General Manager to provide operational leadership across our portfolio of 20+ hotels throughout Ireland.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Regional General Manager will work closely with Hotel Managers to drive operational excellence, commercial performance, profitability and guest satisfaction across the portfolio.

The successful candidate will provide leadership, support and constructive challenge to Hotel Managers, ensuring that Group strategy is translated into clear operational objectives and measurable results. They will also develop strong relationships with hotel owners and key stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve hotel performance and asset value.

About this role

• Minimum 10 years' senior operational experience within the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience as a General Manager, Regional Manager, Group General Manager or equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple hotel operations or a multi-site hospitality portfolio.
• Strong track record in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and delivering financial results.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, Revenue, Sales, Marketing, Food & Beverage and guest experience.
• Proven experience working with hotel owners and key stakeholders.
• Experience in CAPEX, refurbishment, hotel openings or operational improvement would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish hotel market would be highly desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
