Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is partnering with an established financial services organisation in Ireland to appoint a Regional Financial Planning Manager. You will lead regional growth, combine personal advisory work with revenue generation, and coach a team of financial planners to deliver high levels of service and compliant advice.

Based in the region, you will build networks, drive performance, manage advisers, and implement regional priorities with senior management.

Qualifications

• QFA and CFP qualifications are essential.
• Experience in senior financial planning or wealth management, ideally with leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record of achieving personal revenue and business development targets.
• Knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Experience coaching, managing and developing financial advisers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal revenue and business development targets through client relationships, referrals and new business generation.
• Manage and expand a portfolio of clients, providing holistic advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Take ownership of regional revenue, adviser performance and business development opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop financial planners, promoting accountability and professional standards.
• Support advisers with complex or high-value cases to achieve strong client outcomes and commercial results.
• Develop relationships with professional introducers and local business networks to generate regional opportunities.
• Implement business initiatives and regional priorities in collaboration with senior management.
• Monitor performance, identify development needs and address underperformance through structured support and clear objectives.
• Promote a strong compliance culture, ensuring adherence to applicable Irish financial services regulations and governance requirements.
