Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Regional Cooling Service Representative to deliver on-site commissioning and technical support for data center cooling systems. The role covers startup, evaluation of installations, and optimization of operating conditions across cooling products.

The successful candidate will travel internationally (70%+) and collaborate with service engineers to resolve issues, train customers, and perform preventive maintenance, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of HVAC principles, specifically cooling, and basic knowledge of electricity.
• Ability to work independently with general guidance.
• Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting business procedures, technical documents, and regulations.
• Strong written communication: reports, correspondence, procedure manuals.
• Analytical thinking: define problems, collect data, establish facts, interpret technical instructions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel internationally (70%+).

• Document and return defective parts to the designated disposal/repair location.
• Train customers on basic equipment operations.

Regional Cooling Service Representative (Data Center Cooling) - Specialist Senior Service Representative I

Location: UK wide (role includes international onsite travel).

Mission

The Regional Cooling Service Representative is responsible for providing professional on‑site services for Schneider Electric cooling products, including commissioning, technical analysis, and resolution of customer issues.

Responsibilities

Education & Experience

• University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical engineering.
• Experience with commissioning or field‑service repair of HVAC/cooling equipment.
• Experience with cooling equipment and solutions (air‑cooling, water‑cooled chillers).
• Experience with precision cooling is an advantage.
• Experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression.
• Fluent communication in English (B2+).
• Flexible, reliable, focused on technical details and customer service, team player, leadership skills.
• Computer literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD.
