Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Ireland is seeking a senior compliance professional to provide regulatory coverage for the Irish operations of Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, focusing on consumer deposits and interactions with regulators.

You will work with regional and global teams to implement the Global Compliance mandate, assess risks, and ensure adherence to EU regulations. The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking and the ability to operate across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree
• 5+ years' Compliance experience relating to investment services
• Enhanced knowledge of the different regulatory requirements during the lifecycle of consumer products
• Proven ability to navigate in an international environment
• Clear, concise communication and drafting skills; able to communicate with impact at senior levels and with external regulators
• Experience in interacting with regulators, or supporting regulatory audits or inquiries
• Risk Management: identify, understand and articulate risks associated with regulatory reporting and working with multiple stakeholders to assist in mitigation/escalation
• Team-oriented and supportive of others’ success; comfortable representing a teamwork product to stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask, organize and prioritize
• Familiarity with legal entity governance
• Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
• Take ownership of tasks, progress them independently, and elevate to senior stakeholders when required

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance support and coverage for the Irish operations of Goldman Sachs Bank Europe
• Focus on consumer deposits business and regulatory interactions
• Participate in region-wide and global initiatives to enact the Global Compliance mandate and Business Unit priorities
• Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to firmwide standards
• Assist in Compliance reporting to executive and supervisory boards
• Contribute to the annual Compliance Risk Assessment
• Integrate applicable rules into the Compliance program and control plan
• Monitor EU regulatory changes and manage regulatory change processes
