Job summary

Mater Private Cork is seeking an HR Recruitment Specialist to lead end-to-end talent acquisition, from sourcing to hiring, while partnering with line managers to define roles and maintain applicant databases. The role focuses on a positive candidate experience, employer branding, and compliance across HR processes.

The successful candidate will also educate Line Managers on HR issues, support onboarding and performance management, and contribute to a collaborative HR team with a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR discipline desirable.
• Membership of the CIPD desirable.
• Demonstrated recruitment and talent acquisition experience, clinical recruitment experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of best practice Human Resources.
• Exceptional organisational and administration skills.
• Strong understanding of Employee Engagement methodologies.
• Strong experience developing progressive workplace environments.
• Excellent understanding of Performance Management techniques, standards and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, with timely accurate work standards.
• Excellent communicator with solutions-oriented approach to dealing with multi-faceted challenges.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be collaborative within the wider HR team.

They will work with line managers to define job requirements, maintain applicant databases, and enhance the employer brand. This role ensures a positive candidate experience and adherence to compliance standards.

The successful candidate will also be an educator and key point of contact for Line Managers, providing advice and support on all Human Resources issues. The successful candidate will be a team player with a can-do attitude. A strong understanding of employment law and best practise will be key. A proven track record in talent acquisition, on-boarding and performance management is required.
