Job summary

Nua Healthcare Services in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead recruitment across our residential services.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, attract high-quality candidates, and support staffing requirements across our homes, with a focus on compliance and people development. The role requires at least 3 years in recruitment and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in recruitment, ideally in healthcare or social care.
• Previous management or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment standards, legislation and best practice in recruitment and HR.
• Experience managing full recruitment lifecycle from attraction to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for domestic and international roles.
• Advertise, source, shortlist, interview and select candidates.
• Monitor staffing levels across services to meet operational needs.
• Issue offers and contracts in line with policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure onboarding complies with regulatory and internal standards.

Job Objectives

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving recruitment activity, attracting and selecting high-quality candidates, and supporting the staffing requirements across our services.

Key Tasks Include

• Live our Mission, Vision and Values.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for both domestic and international roles, including advertising, sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, and selection.
• Monitor and maintain staffing levels across all services to meet current operational needs and planned admissions.
• Issue offers and contracts of employment in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure all new hires complete onboarding in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Develop, update, and maintain accurate job descriptions for all roles across the organization.
• Provide guidance and support to recruitment and administrative staff, fostering a high-performing team.
• Compile and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs to support strategic workforce planning.
• Support succession planning by identifying talent and contributing to leadership development efforts.
• Use recruitment data and trend analysis to recommend improvements that enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate and compliant personnel files in line with legal and company requirements.
• Promote a positive, employee-focused culture centered on quality, improvement, and performance.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Skills Requirement

Essential Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in recruitment, ideally within the healthcare or social care sector.
• Previous management or team leadership experience, with the ability to manage recruitment activity and deliver against staffing requirements.
• Strong knowledge of employment standards, legislation and best practice relevant to recruitment and HR.
• Previous experience working in a similar HR or recruitment function.
• Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate attraction and screening through to selection and onboarding.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet recruitment deadlines.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between services as required.
