Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking a Regulatory Associate Director to lead recovery and prudential regulation engagements, advising banks and financial institutions on BRRD, resolution planning, and compliance. The role involves interacting with boards and regulators, guiding senior teams, and shaping propositions across Europe.

You will work within our hybrid Dublin team, leveraging the global KPMG network to deliver practical, governance‑oriented solutions and drive client impact in a fast‑evolving

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting or financial institutions
• Deep knowledge of BRRD, SRMR, and Irish implementation requirements
• Experience with governance, risk, data, and management information frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements across recovery and resolution frameworks
• Build relationships with boards, senior management, risk and finance leaders
• Direct multidisciplinary teams on design and implementation of recovery and resolution capabilities
• Provide advisory on capital, liquidity, regulatory reporting and remediation
• Lead business development and propose high‑quality client engagements
• Develop junior colleagues and deliver evidence‑based board deliverables
